The writer of the hour

Hello to all recruiters who want to steal me from my agency, family members that are confused by this site, and all of the enemies I destroyed in middle school tetherball. 

I’m Mary, a Copywriter at Havas Chicago. These days you can find me in my apartment muttering lines to myself, with the frustration of someone trying to put together an Ikea set. 

When I’m not doing that, you can find me reading, going on walks, listening to podcasts, trying to figure out how to breakdance, and working on my impression of a Chicago native who likes to ask people “Do yous guys got Giadiniera at dis here subway sandwich shop?” 

Some things I love are Bill Murray, TV sitcoms from the seventies (possibly the only 25 year old owner of the Happy Days box set), a fresh coat of paint on a tennis court, sneakers that make everyone jealous, used CD stores, and photos of Joe Biden eating ice cream.
